A PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW FOR MSOUTH EQUITY PARTNERS

Commercial value creation,
built across the portfolio.

Accelerate organic growth and EBITDA across the portfolio. Start with GED as the proof point, connect customer intelligence with Microsoft CRM and AI, then scale the operating model without replacing existing ERPs.

Jason Wickman · Founder, Agilidy · Former MicrosoftIndependent proposal · October 2026 · Draft

01 / THE COMMERCIAL THESIS

One proof point.
Then a repeatable
portfolio motion.

Private equity creates value by improving every company the fund owns. Most firms hire operating partners for strategy, then bring in consultants for execution. The gap between thesis and revenue outcome is where value leaks.

Agilidy proposes a different model: a single fractional revenue-technology leader who personally drives the first proof point at GED, then scales the same commercial architecture — CRM, AI, account intelligence, cross-sell and aftermarket — across the MSouth portfolio.

The principle

Build the operating model once. Prove it at GED. Repeat it across the portfolio — with each company's ERP intact.

GED first

Prove commercial value creation at one portfolio company with measurable pipeline, cross-sell and aftermarket results before scaling.

Portfolio cross-sell

Map where one MSouth company's customer base or installed base creates a revenue opportunity for another.

Scalable CRM + AI

One CRM and AI architecture pattern, configured per company, sitting on top of the ERP each company already runs.

02 / WHAT WE KNOW VS. WHAT WE WOULD TEST

Verified facts and working hypotheses.

Every claim in this proposal is labeled. We separate what is publicly verifiable from what we would validate during the engagement.

Verified fact

GED (Form Industrial Automation) is a portfolio company operating in industrial automation. MSouth Equity Partners is a private equity firm.

Verified fact

Jason Wickman brings 25+ years in CRM consulting and Microsoft field experience, including 12 years at Microsoft, and has built a Microsoft account intelligence platform.

Working hypothesis

GED's installed base and aftermarket represent untapped cross-sell and recurring revenue potential that CRM and AI can quantify and activate.

Working hypothesis

The same CRM + AI architecture can be replicated across MSouth portfolio companies without replacing their existing ERPs, creating portfolio-level operating leverage.

Verified facts are based on public information and Jason's documented background. Working hypotheses would be validated during discovery and the 90-day pilot. No confidential MSouth or GED data is referenced in this proposal.

03 / PORTFOLIO CROSS-SELL & AFTERMARKET

The installed base
is the hidden portfolio.

Every portfolio company has customers it already sold to. Most do not systematically mine that installed base for cross-sell, aftermarket attach or expansion revenue. That is where EBITDA growth lives — without new headcount.

Account intelligence turns the installed base into a prioritized, actionable list: which accounts are most likely to buy more, which are at risk, and which represent a cross-sell opportunity into another MSouth company's customer base.

This mockup illustrates the kind of account intelligence and AI-agent experience a D365 + Dataverse + Copilot Studio layer could deliver on top of an existing ERP. Account name, revenue, share-of-wallet, whitespace, propensity scores, Copilot alerts, drafted emails and accountability tasks are entirely hypothetical. No real customer, GED, Norfield, Rethceif or MSouth data is used or implied.

04 / SCALABLE CRM & AI WITH EXISTING ERPS

One architecture.
Each company's ERP stays.

The portfolio companies already run ERPs that work. The value-creation opportunity is not replacing them — it is adding a commercial intelligence and revenue layer on top.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse and Copilot Studio provide that layer: a unified CRM and AI platform that integrates with each ERP, surfaces account intelligence, automates cross-sell and aftermarket plays, and scales across the portfolio with one operating model.

Why not replace the ERP?

ERP replacement is slow, expensive and risky. Revenue value creation does not require it. The CRM + AI layer delivers EBITDA impact in weeks, not the quarters an ERP migration demands.

05 / STRATEGY THROUGH EXECUTION

A 90-day start.
A repeatable portfolio motion.

Establish the GED proof point.

Deliverables: GED commercial baseline + prioritized use-case backlog + pilot scope + success measures. Gate: agree the first proof-point pursuit.

  • Personally assess GED commercial data, CRM environment, IFS footprint, customer base and aftermarket motion; agree the first cross-sell and installed-base priorities.
  • Map GED accounts against the existing Microsoft account intelligence platform; identify portfolio cross-sell targets and aftermarket whitespace.
  • Configure a prioritized CRM and AI use-case backlog for GED; agree the two highest-value plays to pilot.
  • Define the EBITDA-linked success measures and the baseline against which the pilot will be measured.

06 / WHY JASON

Personally led.
Business first.
Portfolio-aware.

I'm Jason Wickman, founder of Agilidy. I bring 25+ years at the intersection of customer strategy, revenue and Microsoft technology, including 12 years at Microsoft and experience building a CRM business that was acquired.

I have built a Microsoft account intelligence platform to support account research, cross-sell discovery and targeted engagement. For MSouth, I would apply that asset to portfolio companies — starting with GED — and scale the operating model across the fund.

I work with a handful of clients, personally leading the work alongside operating partners and portfolio company leadership. The engagement can expand across the portfolio or transition to a permanent hire with a documented handoff.

07 / THE PROPOSED FRACTIONAL ENGAGEMENT

Fractional Revenue-Technology
Operating Partner

An initial 90-day engagement to prove the model at GED and establish the portfolio rollout plan, personally led with MSouth operating partners and portfolio company leadership.

Commercial terms and capacity agreed after discovery. Fractional, retainer or contract-to-hire structures available by mutual agreement. This is a draft proposal; no engagement has been agreed.

What I would own

Commercial strategy for GED proof point, CRM + AI use-case prioritization, account intelligence, cross-sell and aftermarket play design, portfolio rollout planning, executive reporting and handoff documentation.

What we would coordinate

Portfolio company sales leaders own their teams and deals; IT owns ERP and infrastructure decisions; operating partners own the value-creation plan. Microsoft partner and specialist resources are scoped where needed.
