Makers Alliance · Founding group

Made of makers.
Built so none of us builds alone.

A working alliance of solopreneurs and boutique Power Platform partners who share strengths and help each other grow — and walk into Microsoft co-sell conversations as one credible team, across the US and Canada.

Bring your strengths. Find support. Build opportunity together.

Founding group

Two people, not a company.

Makers Alliance is run by Mary Myers at WorldMax and Jason Wickman at Agilidy. Either of us will answer you directly — start with the form below.

01 / The premise

Every small shop is world-class at something — and short-handed on something else.

Most of us are the whole company: the seller, the architect, the builder, the person who chases the invoice. The alliance doesn't pretend that's easy. It gives the gap somewhere to go.

What each of us brings

You're not joining to buy. You're joining because you have something worth trading.

  • A craft you'd put against anyone's
  • Patterns from clients who actually shipped
  • An honest read on what's hard and what's theatre
  • A name you care about keeping

What the alliance gives back

The strength you don't have is already in the room — usually in the member you least expected.

  • Coverage for the gap you can't staff
  • A second opinion before you sign
  • Someone to hand a deal that outgrew you
  • People who answer the phone in a bad week

02 / What it is

Three commitments, and nothing decorative.

Strength exchange

Trade the thing you do easily for the thing that slows you down. One maker is fast at what another avoids — that trade is the whole model.

One front to the customer

When a deal needs more than one craft, the group staffs it as a single team with a named maker on each workstream — not an anonymous bench.

Peer council

Plain answers about pricing, scope, contracts, hiring and when to say no, from people carrying their own risk instead of yours.

03 / Co-sell with Microsoft

Co-sell, without standing alone.

Field sellers buy confidence: one team, clear accountability, and a delivery story that survives scrutiny. A solo maker rarely looks like that on paper. An alliance does.

Makers Alliance is an independent group of practitioners convened by Agilidy. It is not a Microsoft program, and membership implies no Microsoft funding, eligibility, endorsement or commitment.

  • One alliance front across many crafts — implementation, data, Copilot Studio, adoption, licensing
  • Named makers per workstream, agreed in writing before the pursuit starts
  • Coverage across the US and Canada, so a deal is never limited by one person’s calendar
  • Shared discipline: the same qualification questions, the same honest no, the same follow-through

04 / How it works

Slow enough to trust. Fast enough to matter.

01

Bring your one-pager

What you're excellent at, what you avoid, and who you'd trust with your own name on the line.

02

Find the pairs

The group matches strengths to gaps. You'll hear who to talk to — and who to hand work to.

03

Work one thing together

Start small and real: one client situation, one shared deliverable, one clean lesson either way.

04

Co-sell as an alliance

When a Microsoft opportunity needs more than one craft, the group steps in as one team.

05 / Who it's for

If you're the whole company, you're precisely who this is for.

Solo makers

Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot Studio, Power BI — one deep craft, no bench, no appetite for hiring one.

Boutique partners

Two to twenty-five people with real delivery history and no ambition to become a big firm.

Adjacent specialists

Data, adoption and change, licensing, design, security — the gaps makers keep tripping over mid-project.

Not a fit if you want a vendor list, referral fees, or your logo on a page without showing up.

07 / Join the conversation

Tell me what you're great at — and where you're short.

A few lines is enough. Jason reads every one and replies personally. No sequence, no sales call, no obligation to join anything.

What you want from the alliance

Straight to Jason. No list, no sequence, nothing shared outside the alliance.

06 / Straight answers

Questions worth asking early.

Is there a fee to join?+

No fee to join the conversation. If the founding group later decides to share a cost — a site, a room, an event — that is a decision made in the open, by the group.

Is this an official Microsoft program?+

No. Makers Alliance is an independent group of practitioners convened by Agilidy. We co-sell alongside Microsoft field sellers, but membership implies no Microsoft funding, eligibility, endorsement or commitment.

How much time does it take?+

One working session a month to begin with, plus whatever you choose to do together. The rhythm tightens once the founding group has met.

I'm a solo shop. Am I too small?+

The point is that individual makers are small. What the group puts in front of a customer is not.

What happens with my information?+

It stays with the alliance. Your details go to Jason and are not sold, shared or dropped into a marketing sequence.
